Ablative CO₂ Lasers apply higher energy density which results in disintegration of cell membranes as well as tearing of the stratum corneum. This results in charring, epidermal necrosis, fumes, and pain.

I can treat very close to eyes, eye lids, also above the eye balls using the S Tip. My patient's experience low pain even without topical anesthesia. Treatments are quick and have no side effects.
